This is my fourth year at Saint Michael and tenth year teaching. I spent two years as an interventionist before I became a classroom teacher. I went to college at Grand Valley State University and received a degree in History with elementary education along with a theme in religion. I went on to receive my master's degree in reading from Marygrove College.
I live in Ionia with my husband, David, our 3 children: Violet (12), Nikolas (6), and Sarah (4), and dog Bo (Chow Chow). In my free time I enjoy reading, watching sports, and spending time with my family and friends. My oldest recently joined a traveling softball team and my husband is an assistant coach for a high school baseball team, so we spend a lot of time at the ball field. I grew up attending Catholic school from Preschool through 8th grade so teaching at a Catholic school feels like coming home. I love being able to talk about God and being able to share my faith with my students.
